MEET THE CASTING DIRECTOR
Sharanya Subramaniam
Sharanya Subramaniam is a Casting Director based in Chennai, India. She has been in the field of Media for over a decade. In an Industry where the role of a Casting Director is yet to find its place, Sharanya identified the need of a person such as herself to fill the void - providing a safe environment, where the Talent can be nurtured and placed in the best possible projects, adding great value to the Filmmakers. Thus began the ambitious journey of Sharanya Spots Talent - your friendly neighbourhood Casting Director.
Though she started her career in Casting during early 2017, she has been in the field of Media since 2010, starting her career as a Production Executive at Raj Television Network, and later Co-Founder of Ice Boys Ent Co. Sharanya believes that having a strong foundation is extremely essential.
Being a people’s person by nature, Sharanya easily identifies the right talent and nurtures them efficiently. Her unique approach, knack for spotting talent, professionalism, clarity in communication, the cinematic eye, and high levels of conviction, have made her one of the pioneers in this relatively young branch of the Film Industry.
